Paul Peide Liu (he/him) is a Taiwanese American movement artist with a focus in floorwork and partnering. Paul grew up in New Jersey training in traditional Chinese dance and acrobatics with the Nai-Ni Chen Youth Dance Company as well as breaking with several local b-boy crews. He later studied Western dance techniques at the Academy of Dance Arts NJ before attending Boston Conservatory and the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing. Paul performed with Pilobolus Dance Theatre as a repertory company member from 2019 to 2023 and continues working with them as a teaching artist. He currently works with Motlee Party and 3AM Theatre and creates work under DRWN with Sungjin 'Denim' Park. In 2026, Paul was awarded the Jadin Wong Fellowship Artist of Exceptional Merit by the Asian American Arts Alliance. He also creates props and set pieces with recyclable material for a variety of productions.
Sungjin ‘Denim’ Park (she/they) is a Korean immigrant movement artist. Their work is informed by collectivist themes and practices they adopted growing up in Seoul, South Korea and Tokyo, Japan. Denim began dancing in high school, training with Seoul Dance Company and Blackpool Dance in Korea before extending their studies in California, where they worked with Sean Greene, Megan Doheny, and Ilya Nikurov (Outrun the Bear). Under the guidance of Micol Hebron, Amber Power, and Arushi Singh, they broadened their interest in durational and experimental performance practices. Upon graduating from Chapman University, they moved to New York to work with 3AM Theatre, Motlee Party, and DRWN—a choreographic collaboration with Paul Liu.
