Your Uncle, I’m Your Uncle

네박자 by 송대관

Your Uncle, I’m Your Uncle captures the desire for the lived experience of Korean masculinity through soju, karaoke, and partnering. Despite its entertaining facade, the duet is driven by an underlying yearning and sorrow. Your Uncle, I’m Your Uncle also serves as an ode to the late trot singer Song Dae Kwan.

First Light

a 3AM Theatre Production

First Light was born out of a series of week-long creations in our home studio in Queens. Over the course of 2025, we developed the sonic palette, the iconic images, and the major themes which comprise the piece today. It is a show about wild ambition and the grief that is left in its wake; about the attempt to make contact with the greatest mysteries adn the long reckoning we must endure when we do.

These Women

Experimental Film, Independent Production

An unnamed white space, dislocated time, the cry of a baby, an unknown box. Three women with different emotional states and reproductive histories arrive here, detached from their everyday lives. They carry impulsive emotions, past wounds, and questions of self reflection. In this space, they peel away, deconstruct, and amplify these experiences through a dynamic, physical process. Is it a continuation of painful memories, or a silent response to an unresolved predicament.
